More specifically, can BI help Cameron to run the country? Simon Ryan, director of Logi Analytics EMEA, asks this question in a recent Computing.co.uk op/ed about the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, who collaborated with his government’s internal IT team to create a BI application that keeps track of data related to the area's economy. Organizational challenges for the coming year continue to be economic conditions, increased competition, execution of brand marketing and the ability to quickly execute strategies by making informed decisions. Successful business performance depends on the conquest of these challenges. Business intelligence software is not enough to guarantee that employees will be able to meet the growing needs of the business to overcome these demanding challenges; organizational structure must enhance the opportunities for analysis.
