We are always getting better.

With Logi Info v14, we’ve made several enhancements that help your software team deliver a superior user experience while reducing development costs and accelerating your product roadmap.

Keep reading to learn about the pain points we’ve identified and how we’ve addressed them with our recent enhancements.

Delivering a Superior User Experience

Crosstab Grouping Enhancements

Most people are visual learners. For many of your users, data visualizations are key in helping them make smarter, data-driven decisions quickly. To better facilitate this workflow, data visualizations like crosstab tables need to be customizable at nearly every level.

With Logi Info 14.0, we’ve introduced an option to build crosstab tables with headers, summary, and conditional formatting at each group header level. With this added flexibility to manipulate and present data in tables, your end users can better highlight trends and patterns, ultimately creating more dynamic and actionable reports.

Chart Configurations Improvements

Beyond customization, it’s important for end users to feel in control of their data. Enabling them to dig deeper into their data can not only help them uncover new insights, but also drive app usage and adoption.

Logi Info 14.0 enables end users using Analysis Grids to zoom in and out on any data point on a visual to perform a deeper analysis. They are also able to add more series, columns, or adjust the type of charts from the analysis grid to further explore and analyze the data.

Aggregate Filters

Next, the goal with any analytics software is to shorten the time it takes for the user to reach the insight. To achieve this, it’s not about giving them more tools. It’s about giving them the right tools.

Logi Info 14.0 introduces a brand new filter capability that enables end users to narrow down the visible data set based on aggregate values. Now, users can group data and apply aggregate filters on an Analysis Grid based on different levels of grouping to summarize and analyze large data sets and gain a higher level of business insights.

Scheduler Time Zone Support

Lastly, nothing increases efficiency like automation. Logi Info 14.0 now supports scheduling reports by time zone so that recipients can receive the report at the same time relative to their location. This auto-converting feature lets users send reports to their co-workers across the globe without having to manually convert to different time zones.

Reducing Development Costs

UI Components Customization

Not only do these recent enhancements provide a better user experience for your end users, but they also provide a more efficient and flexible experience for developers. How? With better customization of UI components.

Logi Info 14.0 allows you to add attributes to HTML elements such as label, division, or image and integrate them with the custom frameworks by adding custom HTML attribute parameters. By enabling you and your software team to leverage UI frameworks to customize embedded content, this new enhancement will help you streamline development and further reduce development costs.

Accelerating Your Product Roadmap

Enhanced Procedure REST API Call

Finally, nothing is more important than security. With Logi Info 14.0, we have improved API security so you can easily make API calls for authorization tokens and pass the results of the API call number into the Authorization Header of an API endpoint to determine user roles and rights. The SecurityProcess element allows a task to be called during authentication, allowing you to leverage response headers from a REST call to aid in authenticating a user at login.

Additional Enhancements

Logi Info 14.0 also comes with the following improvements to give your developer team more control, security, and integration.

  • Bookmark validation utility
  • Conditional loading of DMF files
  • Securely calling metadata API
  • Data column sort and save in bookmark
  • Performance improvement of Analysis Grid
  • Support for complex formulas for aggregates at group level in Analysis Grid
  • Updated chart library
