Software teams are increasingly adopting DevOps practices—a combination of methodologies and tools from software development (Dev) and information technology operations (Ops) to fuel more frequent application deployments. Reliance on DevOps climbed to 33 percent last year, which is nearly double from the year before. Another 35 percent of respondents were on track to adopt DevOps methodologies before year end.

Dev and Ops teams share a common goal of releasing standout products. But on the day-to-day, they have very different priorities.
