Embedded analytics has evolved from an afterthought to an indispensable business opportunity for application teams. With it, companies are able to increase the stickiness of their applications, drive revenue, reduce customer churn, and improve competitive differentiation.
Logi is proud to lead the way in the exciting world of embedded analytics—and even prouder to be recognized in two recent analyst reports.
For the third consecutive year, Gartner gave Logi a top score for the OEM and embedded BI use case in the 2018 Critical Capabilities for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms. Logi received the second-highest score out of 20 analytics vendors.
This recognition is the latest in a string of accolades for Logi, including the highest ranking for embedded BI in the 2017 Dresner Advisory Services Wisdom of Crowds Embedded BI Market Study.
The importance of embedded analytics is only increasing. In a separate report, 5 Best Practices for Choosing an Embedded Analytics Platform Provider, Gartner predicts that by 2020, the majority of enterprise application vendors will compete on the sophistication of the embedded analytics they offer.
According to Gartner, “Over the past two decades, enterprise application providers viewed analytics as an optional nice-to-have feature often provided by analytics partners as an add-on capability. That has changed. Enterprise software providers need to recognize that end-user organizations are evaluating vendors on analytical capabilities rather than the core functionality.”
Both Gartner and Dresner recognize the importance of embedded analytics in helping application teams add value to and differentiate their software products. Logi’s analytics platform in particular gives customers complete control over the end-user experience and integrates with developers’ existing technologies—making it the only developer-grade solution of its kind. Over 1,800 application teams use Logi to add tangible value to their applications.
