Reading, UK – June 9, 2015 – Logi Analytics, the leader in self-service analytics, today announced that Banks Sadler, the global meetings and event management agency, has selected its Logi Info business intelligence (BI) platform which will transform the agility of its reporting and analytics capability, in just three months. Logi Info will enable Banks Sadler to re-assign up to 40 days of time consuming, specialist development of Crystal Reports, more quickly address the growing number of business analysis requests, and provide a platform to introduce user self-service.
The Banks Sadler IT team wanted to find the right tool to unlock the value of 30 years of business data. With a variety of data sources, such as Excel tables, expansive CRM data sources and other internal and external systems, the team needed a BI platform that would quickly reveal patterns and trends across all these sources without the headache of a major data integration exercise.
Following a comprehensive analysis of the BI market, Banks Sadler chose Logi Info as the best solution to provide fast, intuitive development with out-of-the-box templates, as well as the ability to configure specific reports and extend user self-service. This was a vital element, as the business continues its global expansion programme, with its latest office opening in China.
“When we presented Logi Info to our board, the product sold itself. Our executives could immediately see how it would add value to our decision making and performance management. I think it is the fastest sign-off for an IT investment I have ever had,” said Chris Taylor, Head of Systems Development, Banks Sadler.
When the opportunity came for Taylor to demonstrate what Logi could do, he had just a couple of hours to build a selection of dashboard views of CRM data.
“Bearing in mind we had almost no previous experience using Logi Info, this shows how easy it is to build relevant data visualisations that can bring data to life for senior decision makers. The management team was also really impressed with the capability Logi has to drill into the detail and change views on the fly,” said Taylor.
Steven Schneider, Chief Product Officer, Logi Analytics said: “We are pleased that Banks Sadler has chosen Logi Analytics for data driven decision making at all levels of the organisation. We are looking forward to a long-term partnership as the reporting and analytics capabilities at Banks Sadler are transformed.”
