CLIC Sargent Selects Logi Analytics to Eliminate Days of Manual Data Preparation

Charity for Children and Young People With Cancer Replaces Spreadsheets With Personalised Dashboards

Reading, UK – 29 October 2013  – CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, has selected Logi Analytics, the authority on embedded analytics, to provide enhanced insight and analysis for the organisation to effectively measure its performance against targets.

Logi Analytics will give the senior management team at CLIC Sargent the tools to manage and monitor the charity’s work across a number of key performance indicators (KPIs), at both corporate and directorate level. Investing in Logi Analytics will eliminate several days of manual data preparation and replace spreadsheets and word reports with dashboards. This will provide users with new ways to access and analyse financial, operational and fundraising data.

Victoria Charles, Head of Management Information Systems, CLIC Sargent explained: “We needed to provide our senior managers with data that will support them in identifying trends and ratings, so that performance could be understood and improved wherever possible. Before we made our purchase, a thorough review of solutions took place and Logi Analytics was chosen because it makes the live data so easy to work with – at the right price.”

CLIC Sargent reports on KPIs across a range of topics, including finance, services, people, stakeholders and operations. Senior managers can now quickly bring up the relevant dashboard and immediately see performance ratings identified by a traffic light system. Commentary can be viewed and if required, further detail can be accessed by drilling down into the charts and tables that hold historical data.

“Even at this early stage we are seeing some great benefits with Logi Analytics in place. Not only will we save a considerable amount of time each month, we will also have so much more information available through the dashboards. Logi Analytics gives us a much greater understanding of our performance across our range of activities, and this is all at the click of a button,” continued Victoria Charles.

CLIC Sargent plans to use Logi Analytics to target fundraising activities more effectively which will enable the charity to support more children and young people with cancer, and their families.

Simon Ryan, Director of EMEA, Logi Analytics said: “We are delighted to be able to support CLIC Sargent in analysing and interpreting its data, and using this understanding to achieve its performance targets. At Logi Analytics, we are continuing to see more charities as well as businesses benefiting from embedding analytics into the processes, applications and systems they use to run their organisations.”
