Global upstream oil and gas company implements Logi Info as part of its progressive technology strategy

Reading, UK – 11 April 2013 – Nexen Petroleum U.K. Limited, a leading upstream oil and gas company, has selected Logi Analytics, the authority on embedded analytics, to provide graphical insight into planning a new range of data visualisation dashboards to enhance business visibility of key metrics, which could be made available on mobile devices.

The project will form part of Nexen Petroleum U.K. Limited’s performance management architecture.  When complete, the dashboards will provide new and different ways to access and analyse financial data and a diverse range of operational metrics such as health and safety, production, staff retention and asset integration.

“More and more businesses choose Logi Info to embed analytics into their systems, processes and applications, including  those on mobile devices, opening up new opportunities for organisations to put information to work,” said Simon Ryan, Director of EMEA, Logi Analytics.  “Our proven performance, together with our licensing model, means that our customers can give more people access to business information in a way that makes sense to each individual person or role – however large, varied or complex the data set.”
